Review: the Alaskan klee Kai!

Hey guys today I'm reviewing the Alaskan Klee Kai! i'm fascinated with Artic and Alasken dogs. Considering i had a Husky. So over the next few weeks, Im going to try cover all the Alasken dogs!

The Alaskan klee Kai is a northern dog of a spitz type. Klee Kai is the alasken word for "Small dog". The breed was developed for a small companion to the sledding dog, the Alaskan husky. I'll refer toLaskan klee Kai's as AKK. Akk's should look like miniture huskys. Although their standards are based on the Siberian husky. based on their heigh they come in three sizes.

Toy size: Up to 13 inches
Mini:  13-15 inch
Standard:  15-17 inch

The come in black and white, gray and white or red and white. The Akk is like the Siberian husky which is relatively easy to care for. They are extremely clean and they spend hours cleaning themselves. They also do not like wet feet. They don't shed all year but only twice a year. it's best to groom them daily, since they can get matted. to loose some fur they'll rub agaisnt fences.

The AKK is very intelligent, curious and active breed.  unlike the Siberian Husky they get wary around unknown individuals, which exels them in being watchdogs. you should continualy socialize with your Akk.  They're moderately active and having a strong Hunting drive. Which means if not properly introduced with birds, hamsters, gerbils, cats etc, they will go after and kill them. They can be a great family dog, with children are careful around animals. otherwise they are intelligent and love doing Obediance classes, and to please their owners.
